Best Greek Food in Brooklyn

Went to a book launch down the block and ferried to Bay Ridge for it. Heard this spot js the best in the neighborhood and everyone’s right. Loved their octopus green salad so much, as did the gyro platter with the garlic dip. Huge portions and got about five meals out of it. Shoutout to Billy Joe who was so kind and helpful and funny too, helped suggestthe best dishes to order. Would totally come back when I’m in the neighborhood and recommend to everyone. 5 stars!!!!

My menu choices at Louie's Gyros have been limited because well... It's Louie's *GYROS*. I've been so lucky to have had their Gyro with a side of fries. When the man and I are uber famished, we'll order some lemon potatoes, as well. When I tell you that I did not expect the food I had, I kid you not… HANDS DOWN this place had INCREDIBLE FOOD and amazing bang for your buck! When I went in for dinner, there was one other family of 4 and this was at 7pm at night on Saturday. This place should be BLOWING UP with the amount quality of food and volume of food served. Best gyro in Brooklyn. So fresh and always on point. The spicy feta is amazing, and all the other dips were just as good. The owner Louie is great. It's a taste of Greece, here in bay ridge. Has def become our go to spot, for Greek food. PS: make sure to try the smash burger, WOW!

Had a farewell get together at Olives & Pita, which was recommended by a friend. The indoor dining area is not very large, but there is an outdoor patio for warmer days. Our party had the loukaniko Greek sausage, grilled octopus, and chicken soup for appetizers.
